Recommended Uses:
Ideal for high-traffic residential spaces and commercial settings, Loba 2K Duo Extra-Matte is suitable for most wood species and cork flooring. It can also be used to recoat factory-finished UV-cured floors in conjunction with Loba 2K Contact.
Application Guidelines:
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the floor is professionally sanded, clean, and free from contaminants
- Mixing: Shake the base well, add the hardener in a 10:1 ratio, and mix thoroughly. The mixture remains usable for 2 hours
- Application Tools: Use a LOBA Micro 120 Roller, T-bar, trim pad, lambswool applicator, or brush
- Coating Process: Apply evenly at the recommended coverage rate. Allow to dry for 2-3 hours before recoating. An intermediate sanding with a 180-220 grit pad is recommended between coats
- Curing Time: The floor can handle light traffic after 24 hours and reaches full cure in 5 days
- Compatible With: LOBA primers like EasyPrime and AmberPrime and fillers like EasyFill
